I've always seen the 10/22 in one of 2 ways:

"EVERYONE has a 10/22. They're like plague. You need something more unique."

Or

"How in the heck do you NOT own a 10/22 yet? They are a Canadian shooting staple!"

But I think it's about time I hand down my Dad's Winchester 67 to my son.. so I'm going to need a new .22!
